Technology + Innovation: Microsoft Unveils New Look

In the wake of what should be a radical shake-up of the entire Microsoft brand, the software giants are poised to launch a new brand marketing campaign and logo.

Apparently Microsoft's last big change was over 25 years ago, so it appears as if Microsoft are making a big leap to try and gain ground on their sole rivals Apple.

The new logo and typeface is a simplified and refined version of their current badge, which many have been claiming is an attempt at the 'less is more' approach from Apple.

The logo change forms part of the changes to all products within the Microsoft family which include: Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, Outlook, Xbox services and the up-coming installment of Microsoft Office.
