Loving this new tune by Santigold entitled 'Disparate Youth' which sees the return of the artist that featured in the noughties previously under the pseudonym of Santogold. 'Disparate Youth' is a tune of mixed emotion and empathy for the third world struggle and Santigold's realisation of the world that we seem to oh so easily forget about in our own day to day lives. It's a lovely summery tune with a range of sounds within the record which subconsiously allow you to analyse and enjoy the flavourful tune at the same time. Coming off the back of her successful 2008 debut album which was self titled, and four years in the making Santigold is back in 2012 with virtually a similar sound which is nothing short of a breath of fresh air for us at OBWD (if it ain't broke..). Her sophomore album which is set to be titled Master of My Make-Believe will be released to the masses at the end of the month on 24 April to be exact and we are anticipating great things from this talented lady.
