Singles 'Video Games' and 'Born To Die' have also effectively placed the American firmly on the musical map. The fresh faced 25-year-old New Yorker is putting out some very original soul ballad-esque vibes, but it seems not everyone is happy with the way she is going about her business. Her performance on Saturday Night Live was heavily criticised, with one Juliette Lewis stating, 'it was like watching a 12-year-old in their bedroom when they're pretending to perform and sing'.
