Bespoke Attire: B-Side by Wale - Styling a Nation

Britain is firmly placed at the forefront of World entertainment this year and with the World's eyes fixed on us, it is of utmost importance to not only show our respect and support but, look good whilst doing so. As proud British people we should convey our satisfaction in every way possible, especially our clothing. B-Side by Wale Adeyemi have provided the ever conscious street stylist an opportunity to portray this without sacrificing anything from their usual appearance. This is revolutionary, due to the fact that Olympic merchandise can often leave you looking like a tourist even in your home country. As a result of this B-Side have set out to produce a range of garments that are bold, yet simplistic whilst capturing what it really means to be 'British'. With the whole country still buzzing from the Jubilee and currently marvelling over the Olympics there has never been a better time to show your support for your country. Take a look at some of the apparel available at B-Side..

In order to invite the nation, not just Londoners, to a feel part of the 2012 Olympic festivities B-Side have whipped up the 'Big Up London' tee campaign in a bid to help shift focus on to our great capital city.

The 'Big Up London' tee mixes old and modern through simplicity, using the trademark B-Side 'B' and styling the rest of the typography in an Olde English font to really capture the cultural feel instilled within London.

The t-shirts are available in both black and white, and will complement an individual who likes to indulge in cosmopolitan vintage and street apparel.

This soon to be iconic 'British' T shirt is a minimalistic fashion statement that is just as humbly proud as the nationality it depicts. As British citizens we are not over bearing or in your face like some nations, we are more refined, but every bit as patriotic. With the 'Killer B' at the start of the word contrasting with the rest of the word in old English it symbolises the progression we have made as a nation. It is important to note that the usual colour ways that we pay homage to have been stripped back to a black and white scheme just to put more emphasis around what it means to be British.

With a campaign that features several talented London-based British musicians we are able to truly feel that B-Side are producing clothing for people who are proud to be British. We see acts such as Chase & Status, Mikill Pane and Delilah all donning these excellent t-shirts which really does make a point of showcasing British talent, as we as a nation have produced some inspirational icons over the years.
