Tour: Bloc Party Set To Tour This Summer

Indie old boys Bloc Party are set to return to the live picture sooner than we were expecting, as announced earlier today with the band marking themselves down for just three, what can only be described as being warm-up dates, for the fourpiece ensemble. We're just glad that the boys are back to be honest, and we're sure this return to the scene will mean that new material is definitely in the pipeline. After nervous times last summer hearing vicious rumours of frontman Kele Okereke leaving the band and speculation of a rift, it's just good for us to now have reassurance that Bloc Party are one still unit. They'll be re-releasing 'She's Hearing Voices', a single from their critically acclaimed debut album Silent Alarm to mark the anniversary of Record Store Day on April 21, so if you're interested and you're feeling nostalgic you'll be able to get hold of that track again. Bloc Party will also be playing a couple of international dates at venues like Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks, so if you're out there then make sure you catch them out in the sun in September. Here's a list of the dates that Bloc Party should be playing this coming June...

Glasgow Garage (June 19)
Manchester HMV Ritz (20)
London Koko (21)

You can get hold of Bloc Party tickets here on their official website [UK dates SOLD OUT].
